The Next Step in Your Driver’s Development
From a first test to a full racing season, Roli Motorsport creates a focused programme around the driver’s experience, goals and next challenge.

A Clear Next Step for Young Drivers
Roli Motorsport works with young drivers from around 8–9 years old and with families looking for a professional path forward in karting.
The right next step depends on the driver’s current experience, goals and readiness for competition.

04Driver Management Programme
View details
Long-term sporting and career guidance for ambitious drivers and their families. We help define realistic goals, choose the right championships and development opportunities, evaluate possible teams and plan the next steps in the driver’s career. Every decision is based on the driver’s potential, progress and long-term direction.
A Programme Built Around the Driver
A true champion is not defined by setting the fastest lap in practice—or even in qualifying. A true champion makes the right decisions on track, stays composed in every situation and shows their talent when it matters most.

Age, experience, current situation and ambitions.
Identify strengths and the areas requiring attention.
Plan the next step around the individual driver.
Develop through coaching, track work and analysis.
Refine the programme as experience grows.
Experience Built Over Decades in Karting
Roli Motorsport was established in 2004 by Andrei Bersenev, who has more than 30 years of experience in karting.
Andrei was the first coach of Jüri Vips, Markus Kajak and Martin Rump. This experience continues to shape an individual and professional approach to young drivers.
Development Happens Trackside
Preparation, communication, data and experience come together in the paddock and on the circuit.

Practical Questions for Families
The final answers cover details specific to working with Roli Motorsport.
What experience should the driver already have?
Roli Motorsport works with drivers at every level of experience. Each programme is adapted to the driver’s current skills, with the goal of developing their abilities, improving performance and helping them become faster.
Does the driver need their own kart and equipment?
No. Roli Motorsport has karts, engines and all necessary technical equipment available on site. The driver only needs to bring personal racing equipment, including a helmet and racing suit.
What should parents provide before the first conversation?
Before the first conversation, we ask for the driver’s age, previous experience, racing results, goals and the approximate budget available for the programme. This information helps us understand the driver’s situation and recommend a suitable next step.
What arrangements are handled separately?
To participate in a race, the driver must hold the required valid racing licence. Flights, accommodation and local transfers are arranged separately from the racing programme.
How far in advance should a programme be planned?
A full-season programme should be discussed as early as possible. For individual tests or races, we normally recommend contacting us at least two weeks in advance. In some cases, arrangements may also be possible at shorter notice, depending on availability.
Can an international driver participate without living in Italy?
Yes. Drivers can travel to Italy for scheduled tests and races without living there permanently. Italy has good flight connections with many countries, and Roli Motorsport can assist with booking hotels or apartments. For an intensive full-season programme, living in Italy may be more convenient, but it is not required.
How do you decide whether a driver is ready to race in Italy?
For racing in Italy, it is preferable for the driver to already have competition experience in a national championship, as the level of competition is significantly higher. Testing and driver development programmes, however, are available to drivers at any level of experience.
Can a driver join for one test or race before committing to a longer programme?
Yes. Starting with a single test or race is usually the right approach. It allows the driver, family and team to understand how they work together before deciding on a longer development or full-season programme.
Can Roli Motorsport work with a driver who already represents another team?
Yes. Roli Motorsport is open to helping drivers who already represent another team. What matters is that the driver wants to work, improve and continue developing.
How do parents receive feedback about the driver’s progress?
Parents receive a written report after every test and race.
Which languages can be used for coaching and communication with the family?
Coaching and communication with families are available in English, Russian and Estonian. Italian-language support is also available through members of the team.
